Working together, the Dallas and Plano Legacy chapters of the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center raised a record $797,000 during 2014-2015 for Children’s Medical Center Foundation. The gift will support a variety of programs at the Dallas and Plano campuses and at the Children’s Medical Center Research Institute at UT Southwestern. The funds will also establish an endowment for Family Support Services.
In Plano, the Legacy Chapter’s fundraising events, in particular the signature Legacy of Love Benefit & Fashion Show, will support a number of initiatives at the Plano campus including new ophthalmology equipment; Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders; Family Support Services; and more. New members are always welcome.
Jean Callison, president of the Legacy Chapter, said: “We have a lot of opportunities to get involved. We will find a place for you in the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Plano, Legacy Chapter, where you will enjoy serving our community’s young members.”
