There’s Fall Fun a-plenty at Watters Creek in Allen!

Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is so much more than a shopping mall, it’s a destination with wonderful shopping, great restaurants, as well as arts and entertainment! This fall, don’t miss out on these fun family-friendly events next Saturday October 24.

Saturday October 24

On Saturday October 24 Watters Creek will play host to Carson’s Crusaders 6th Annual Trek or Treat 5K and Fun Run beginning at 7:30 a.m. The race starts off at Watters Creek and winds through its surrounding trails. It finishes back at the shopping center with music, kids activities, awards and exhibitors representing the best in health and wellness. Runners and walkers are invited to wear their Halloween costume. Click here to register.

The center’s Halloween festivities then kick off at noon with Bach & Broomsticks, which includes kid-friendly activities and family fun throughout the day. Concerts by the Creek from 7 – 10 p.m. featuring Bach Suites and Two Feet Beats wraps up the day’s events with a fusion of Bach and Gershwin in an eclectic and vibrant performance.

Noon – 3 p.m., Pink Pumpkin Sale benefiting Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Breast Center

1 p.m. – 4 p.m., Free hayrides

2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Duck Derby Race benefiting the Allen High Noon Lions Club – click here for more information.

3 p.m. – 4 p.m., Children’s musical entertainer, Joe McDermott accompanied by The Allen Philharmonic Ensemble

7 – 10 p.m., Concerts by the Creek presents Bach Suites and Two Feet Beats

Pumpkins for the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Breast Center

Always mindful of the community and giving back, Watters Creek purchased pumpkins to be painted and decorated pink by the National Art Honor Society Students from Allen High School, Allen High School Sculpture Students and members of the Allen Arts Alliance Teen Council. The pumpkins will be showcased in stores throughout the shopping center, and available for guests to purchase from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Oct. 24. All money made from the sale of the pink pumpkins will go to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Breast Center.
