Friday, December 11, Michael Finley, a former NBA All-Star and Dallas Mavericks guard, is set to volunteer as a Salvation Army bell ringer at NorthPark Center in Dallas.

Michael Finley NBA basketball player

Michael played in the NBA for 16 years and scored more than 2,000 points in his college career. Impressive. But his personal resume continues to grow off court, as he will ring a bell to see how many donations shoppers can dunk into the famous red kettle.

Members of the Michael Finley Foundation will also join in on the giving spirit, wearing the red Salvation Army volunteer aprons and assist Michael in ringing bells. All money raised will help support important services in the community for low-income families.

So, be there or be square while Michael dons red.
