It’s May 1939. What sort of trouble could a Bishop get into? Why, Nun of course!

Starting Tuesday, December 29, Pegasus Theatre hosts the world premiere of Kurt Kleinmann’s newest play at Richardson’s Eisemann Center. Get ready to take a stroll in times past as the play is in Living Black & White™, a technique developed at Pegasus Theatre which, through the use of trade-secret makeup, special lighting, detailed costuming and set creation, combined with stylized acting, creates the illusion that the audience is watching, not just a play, but a 1930s–1940s black-and-white movie brought to life on stage.

Bishop Perkins suspects that something is amiss at Our Lady of Perpetual Weepiness and asks Harry Hunsacker, world famous detective and aspiring actor, to look into things at the convent. Harry and his buddies Nigel Grouse and Lieutenant Foster find more trouble than they could even imagine. Discover the trouble in this dark comedy, Death is a Bad Habit!, written by Michael Serrecchia.

The show offers Sneak Previews (Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 29–30) and First Weekend Rush (Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 2–3) for $22, a special New Year’s Eve performance for $62, which includes champagne and cake with the cast, and runs through its last day on Sunday, January 24. Student and senior discounts’ $10 off the ticket price.
