The 10 Best Restaurants in Plano

Believe it or not there are over 700 restaurants in Plano…which makes it basically impossible for us to name the top 10 best ones. And that is why we’re thrilled we have TripAdvisor to do it for us!

And so according to TripAdvisor here are the Top 10 Best Plano Restaurants. Do you agree? Personally I’m a huge fan of Whiskey Cake, so I am in complete agreement with that one, and as for Urban Crust and Fish Shack in Downtown Plano—having dined out at both of those eateries just last week—I must say, they are very good. I especially LOVE the salads at Urban Crust and you can’t beat the fish and chips from the Fish Shack. And although listed at #12, Bavarian Grill is another one of my favorites…because somedays you just need a good German beer and a traditional schnitzel!

Serving up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes & cocktails out of their ‘from scratch only’ kitchen and bar. Microwave? They’ve never heard of it. They use slow-cooking methods on a live wood grill, smoker and spit because everything tastes better that way. Open for lunch, dinner and even brunch on the weekends too!

“Deep in the heart of Tex-Mex.” Their menu is made up of a combination of flavors, with recipes and ingredients from across New Mexico, Mexican border towns, the Rio Grande Valley, deep South Texas, Austin and beyond. Their Green Chile sauce recipe was “borrowed” from a little hole-in-the-wall in Española, New Mexico, and their fajita marinade is an old South Texas family recipe (used at some “infamous” South Padre Island beach parties.)
