A poutine station at a burger joint? That’s right.

Richard and Tiffanee Ellman, owners of Pakpao and Oak in Dallas, along with the creative chef behind Knife, John Tesar, team up to bring a new concept into the burger world. Mr. Ellman went on a month-long trip to Peru for research on an elevated hamburger restaurant. He came back with lots of ideas that will become The Royale Magnificent Burgers.

The Royale will be known for their hamburgers, milkshakes and poutine, and the amazing variety of each. Between the burger buns, diners will be able to choose mouthwatering meats such as Angus and lamb, or creatures of the ocean such as soft-shell crab. Rather than mixologists, they’ll have shakeologists. Their alcoholic shakes, called “Charged Milkshakes,” will make you want to head back to The Royale again and again. Don’t worry, they’ll have non-alcoholic ones too. Don’t forget the poutine station. (Poutine is a Canadian dish, traditionally made of French fries and cheese curds with gravy.) They’ll also offer leafy green salads and other tasty sides.

The restaurant’s overall concept is inspired by Wes Anderson movies, Brady Urrunaga of Plan B told Plano Profile. Anderson is known for his distinctive visual and narrative style, and directed films such as The Royal Tenenbaums and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Alex Urranaga and Royce Ring, owners of Plan B, an architectural design firm in Dallas, will produce everything that flows within the building, including lighting, music, wall art, features, etc.

The Royale’s doors fly open in February of 2016.
