Opening this summer, HarborChase of Plano, a local Assisted Living and Memory Care community, is committed to providing residents with a high level of customization. As part of this commitment, they have launched the Chef’s Fare Dining Program. The program features a wealth of options tailored to each individual’s dining preferences.
“We are always looking for fresh and innovative ways to serve our residents,” says Kathleen Storey, Executive Director of HarborChase of Plano. “We know that residents desire a higher level of dining customization and we are proud to be able to offer them our exclusive Chef’s Fare Dining Program.”
Each month, residents of HarborChase will receive a “Dining Dollar” allowance of $750 to be enjoyed throughout multiple community dining venues. The Dining Dollars can be used to customize residents’ dining experiences any way they like. Residents can choose to dine in the traditional restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner or they can eat in one of the community’s other dining venues. Dining Dollars can even be used to pay for meals for family and friends.
“We have made it flexible by having different dining venues to choose from,” says Storey. “We also have the added entertainment of an exhibition kitchen, a wood-fired oven, a bistro lounge and a bar for cocktails.”
HarborChase’s culinary team is focused on providing a diverse chef-prepared menu featuring local cuisine and seasonal ingredients. Residents can choose enhanced items like Surf & Turf, Shrimp Bistro Pasta or a 6 oz. HRA Signature Filet Mignon. They are free to indulge in one of the weekly Chef’s Table options or spend their Dining Dollars in any of our other fine dining venues. If they want, they can even use them for bar appetizers in the lounge.
