While Downtown Plano may have historically been the epicenter of all things artsy here in Plano, as our fair city continues to grow and evolve so does the Plano art scene—this weekend with the official inauguration of Skypony Gallery at The Shops at Willow Bend.
Owned and operated by artists Kiki Curry Winters and Douglas E. Winters III, similar to Ten20 Gallery in Downtown Plano, Skypony Gallery is proud to represent both local and national, emerging, mid-career, and established artists with a wide variety of artistic expression.
Exhibiting artists include Kiki Curry Winters and Douglas E. Winters III themselves, as well as local Plano artist, Steve Uriegas whose unique technique “Abstract Expressionism” has garnered attention nationwide. Other artists are Martha Boles, Valery Guignon, K.D. Hafley, Anne-Marie Haynes, Chris Henderson, Glenda Hinson, Audrey Legatowicz, Lilli Lehtonen, Teta Smith and Rhonda Voight.
Skypony Gallery invites you to their Inaugural Grand Opening Exhibition and Celebration this Saturday July 24, 6–9p.m. at their newly opened second location at The Shops at Willow Bend, Plano, Texas. Admission is free and there will be lite bites, wine, craft beer, and live music.
