Is Collin County the fashion center of DFW? I think we can safely say that it’s not. At least, not yet. With different cultures deeply embedded in the community, as well as west and east coasters moving here in droves—we are seeing a wide range of meaning behind the concept of ‘being fashionable’.
The wonderful thing about Texas is that it has become a beautiful, multi-cultural mosaic that reflects no single culture but highlights aspects of the rich backgrounds of many.
While Collin County quickly grows into her role as North Texas’ economic powerhouse, she’s also developing her own unique style. Strolling along Windrose Avenue at Legacy West, seeing Lamborghinis, Porsches and countless new Mercedes pulling up for dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, you can understand why Master Developer Fehmi Karahan likes to refer to this area as “our Rodeo Drive.”
Whether you spot them sipping on a rare Japanese Whiskey at Whiskey Moon or shopping at TUMI, Coach and Pockets Menswear, Collin County’s most stylish ladies and gentlemen have found a place to see and be seen. And they’re not afraid to flaunt it.
