Attendees can expect a varied assortment of frozen margaritas to tantalize their taste buds amidst the lively ambiance. The main stage at McCall Plaza will feature dynamic performances throughout the evening:
- 6:00 p.m.: The festivities start with Mariachi Fuzion.
- 7:30 p.m.: Mexico 2000 Ballet Folklorico takes center stage, promising a display of traditional dance.
- 9:00 p.m.: Lara Latin will grace the stage, ensuring the revelry continues late into the night.
This family-friendly event is free to attend, with drinks available for purchase to enhance your experience.
Salt the Rim has become a staple event in Plano, drawing locals and visitors alike to indulge in the city’s vibrant cultural scene while celebrating everyone’s favorite tequila-based concoction.
Last year's Salt the Rim event in downtown Plano transformed the area into a culinary and cultural hotspot, featuring four craft margarita recipes from local bartenders, including coconut mango, strawberry jalapeño, blood orange and lime, and the downtown Plano classic margarita. Attendees indulged in these drinks and voted for their favorites while enjoying street steak taco plates from Urban Rio. Live music and dance performances by Mariachi Fuzion, Mexico 2000 Ballet Folklorico and Lara Latin added to the vibrant atmosphere, making it a night to remember.
