Activision, publisher of Call of Duty games and the owner of the Call of Duty League, announced the Call of Duty League Championship Weekend 2024 dates and venue. Scheduled to take place from July 18 - 21 at the Credit Union of Texas Events Center in Allen, Texas, the championship promises intense competition.
The Call of Duty Championship is an annual Call of Duty tournament held at the end of each competitive season to determine the year's World Champion. To determine qualification, teams must qualify through events before the World Championship.
Tickets are now on sale, catering to various preferences and budgets. Prices range from $29 for daily general admission passes to $299 for exclusive VIP access, allowing fans to secure seats for the action-packed weekend.
A significant feature of the championship weekend is the Challengers Finals, where 16 teams compete for supremacy. In the qualification round, ten teams earn spots based on accumulated Challenger Points and six secure last-chance qualifier spots. The finals, preceding the main championship event, have proven to be intense showdowns and fierce competition.
As specified by the official website, for the 2024 season, teams will compete in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III on PC with any league-approved controller, giving players incredible input customization.
