The original article continues below.

To get involved, Allen solid waste utility customers need only bring their current city of Allen utility bill, displayed on their windshield, and a valid driver's license with a matching address. Upon arrival, attendees should remain in their vehicles while staff members unload items. To expedite the process, organizers recommend packing similar items together.

Accepted items for disposal include pet products, bicycles, shoes, household goods, clothing, books, electronics, cardboard, paper for shredding and medications. Electronics such as laptops, printers, TVs and accessories can also be recycled.

Participants should access the event via Bethany Drive, turning onto Century Parkway from the south (note: entry from McDermott Drive is unavailable). Donations are directed to Zone 1 in the front parking lot, while items for recycling or disposal go to Zone 2, accessible via Butler Drive. A fast-pass system is in place for attendees requiring access to both zones, allowing for efficient navigation between areas.
