DART to Winter Travel

The winter holiday travel season is in full swing, and if your trip involves a flight out of DFW International Airport or Dallas Love Field, let Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) get you there safely.

Here’s the low down on travel to and from the Dallas-area airports:

Orange Line to DFW Airport

Travelers can start their journey at any DART light rail station and reach DFW Airport Terminal A via the Orange Line. From DFW Airport Station, passengers connect to the other four terminals via the Terminal Link bus shuttles outside of security or the SkyLink tram inside security.

Love Link to Love Field

DART takes travelers directly to Love Field, too. Start with either DART’s Green or Orange lines to Inwood/Love Field Station, and once there, board the Love Link Route 524 bus for an eight-minute ride to the airport. Improved signage at the terminal and rail station, and a second bus stop near baggage claim, make riding the Love Link easier than ever. The route also now features larger buses to accommodate more passengers and luggage.

Plan your trip and buy your ticket before you leave

The trains and buses operate daily from approximately 5 a.m. to midnight. DART Rail operates every 8-15 minutes during rush hours, 20 minutes during the midday and weekends, and 30 minutes late at night. Bus schedules vary by neighborhood. Whether you are traveling by rail, bus or both, DART’s free GoPass℠ app is a great travel tool. You can purchase tickets on the app, and learn when the next bus or train will arrive or leave from any station. It features a trip planner to help you get to your destination, and even offers a section highlighting local events accessible by DART. The GoPass app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play store.
