Kendra Scott is bringing local charity, Heart of Autism, $5,000 closer to their goal of raising $50,000 this year.
Fashionistas all over DFW came out to the Kendra Gives Back event on April 14, 2016 in support of Heart of Autism, whose mission is to help those touched by autism thru awarding local grants for therapy, raise funds for further research and create opportunities for Adult Services.
Guests were invited to enjoy bubbles and bites while they shopped Kendra Scott’s latest designs on April 14 from 5–8 p.m. at both the Shops at Legacy Plano location and Preston Center Dallas Location. Heart of Autism received 20 percent of the proceeds from all purchases made that night.
“We are so honored and thrilled to be partnering with Kendra Scott this year and look forward to building our partnership with this amazing organization,” founder Nika Arastoupour said, whose son Mazy was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two in 2012. She continues, “It is through partnerships with local businesses like Kendra Scott that have helped us provide more than 15 local, underprivileged families with year-long therapy grants so far.”
Last month, Heart of Autism hosted their annual Wine & Cookie Pairing Fundraiser with a Kendra Scott Trunk Show where 20% of the proceeds of all purchases also benefited Heart of Autism.
Heart of Autism conducts charity events throughout the year, culminating with a Gala held each September. This year, Heart of Autism’s 4th annual Masquerade Ball will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the Eldorado Country Club in McKinney. Around 250 attendees will enjoy dinner, dancing, poker, a silent auction and a luxury raffle. Kendra Scott will be doing a mystery jewelry pool with all proceeds donated to the charity.

Heart of Autism, a Frisco 501c3 organization, prides themselves on being a local grassroots charity run by a group of mom volunteers who have raised over $70,000 in only 3 years. Funds raised will go towards Autism research and to fund scholarships to underprivileged local families touched by autism who cannot afford therapy.
