Each year, more than 3,300 children and non-offending family members receive help from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County because of allegations of abuse or neglect. There are no waiting lists, and their services are offered free of charge for as long as help is needed.

According to their website, this is what they do: “Providing safety, healing, and justice at the Children’s Advocacy Center is a team effort. Under one roof we house law enforcement, Child Protective Services, therapists, caseworkers, interns, nurses and volunteers. Additionally, we work hand-in-hand with the District Attorney’s office to ensure that justice is served.”

There to look out for the children of Collin County, the Children’s Advocacy Center steps in to protect the ones in our community who need it most and offer resources to those who are either experiencing child abuse or witnessing it.

CACCC is on the cusp of hosting a major fundraiser, the 12th annual Healing Hearts Invitational. Each year, sponsors and partners of the Healing Hearts Invitational come together at Gentle Creek Country Club to raise funding necessary to help abused children heal. The event name speaks directly to CACCC’s mission of provide safety, healing and justice to children impacted by abuse.
