Jay Veal’s style

Veal’s style can be described as a slim, fit, edgy gentleman. Whether it’s a mix of suit and tie, or dressing down with a blazer and jeans, Veal leaves his home confident.

“My personal style is a mix of a suit and tie, but then dressing down with a blazer, button up shirt and jeans with some shoes to match. When I’m on the town I like to rock a blazer with a v-neck shirt along with some Adidas,” said Veal.

Veal says that he typically shops at Old Navy or small boutiques for casual clothes. However, his favorite places to shop include Armani, Armani Exchange, H & M, Zara, Express, Banana Republic and Gucci.

“I like to be stylish and not have to break the bank for it,” said Veal. “I don’t believe in shopping frivolously.”

To complement his outfits, Veal’s favorite accessories are bowties, pocket squares and socks. In fact, he said that he hasn’t worn a regular tie for a few years. He believes these accessories make his outfits more fun.

“Wearing these accessories gives your outfit the pizazz you need to walk out with confidence and style,” said  Veal. “People call me ‘The Stylish Tutor’ because of my style.”

Jay Veal’s style advice

Influenced by GQ and people watching around the area, Veal developed his own style.

“Style is a simple way to say complicated things. Dress how you want to be addressed. Every day is a fashion show and the world is our runway. We have to think like this in our style.”
