Tacodeli To Open First Fort Worth Location

The taqueria brings its renowned farm-to-taco experience in fall 2024

Tacodeli, a Texas-based farm-to-taco taqueria, is gearing up to open its first Fort Worth establishment in Fall 2024. Located at 4500 Hartwood Drive in the Tanglewood neighborhood, this marks the taqueria's 13th shop, expanding its presence into the Fort Worth culinary landscape.

Founded in 1999, Tacodeli has become a Texas staple. It offers patrons a menu deeply rooted in Mexican flavors and community engagement. From breakfast to dinner, all dishes, including the renowned salsa Doña, are meticulously prepared by hand, showcasing Tacodeli’s commitment to quality and authenticity.

“One of the most important foundations of Tacodeli was to always serve the highest-quality product we can and have available to us,” said Roberto Espinosa, founder of Tacodeli, in an official statement. “We crack each egg and prepare by hand all the ingredients that end up in your taco ... we cook everything from scratch.”

Tacodeli’s dedication extends to sourcing partnerships with suppliers like Basse Farms and Vital Farms, ensuring ingredient integrity. The decision to enter Fort Worth holds personal significance for Espinosa, who fondly recalls his college days spent in the city.

The Fort Worth location, which spans 2,500 square feet, offers seating for 50 indoors and 52 outdoors. It features a spacious patio designed around a centuries-old tree. Equipped for all weather conditions, the patio promises a comfortable dining experience year-round.

“I have always felt Fort Worth embodies the spirit of homegrown values and commitment to community that also resonates with Tacodeli’s values. We look forward to fostering meaningful connections and contributing to the thriving community fabric of Fort Worth,” said Eric Wilkerson, partner and co-owner of Tacodeli.
