Experience a vibrant celebration of India's sights, sounds and flavors at Klyde Warren Park

On April 27, 2024, Klyde Warren Park in Dallas will transform into a vibrant tapestry of Indian culture and spirituality for the fifth annual Festival of Joy.

The festivities start at 11 a.m. with a welcome ceremony, followed by a lively parade at 11:30 a.m., winding through the Dallas Arts District, promising a spectacle of color and energy.

A new addition to this year's event is an evening concert at 7 p.m. featuring the acclaimed Indian artist Gaura Vani, renowned for his fusion of Asian musical influences, ensuring an enchanting close to the day's celebrations.

Presented by Kalachandji’s, the Festival of Joy invites families and individuals to partake in a day filled with cultural immersion and entertainment. From folk dances to yoga sessions, as well as children's crafts to face painting, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The festival also boasts an ethnic clothing bazaar, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world of Indian fashion.

Of course, no celebration of Indian culture would be complete without indulging in its culinary delights. Guests are invited to feast on a complimentary vegetarian spread while exploring India's spiritual heart through activities such as the 'ask-a-monk' booth and various exhibits.

The Festival of Joy promises to be a joyous celebration and a unique opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Indian culture firsthand.
