Prepare for an evening of galactic entertainment as Prosper's Movie Night returns on May 4 at the South Lawn of Prosper Town Hall. This year, the town's Movie Night embraces the theme "May the 4th Be With You," paying homage to the iconic phrase from the beloved Star Wars franchise.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., the event promises a celebration of all things Star Wars, including a screening of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Attendees are encouraged to don their finest Star Wars attire, channeling the spirit of their favorite characters from the saga. The festivities commence with various activities, including meeting Star Wars characters, playing lawn games, and enjoying treats like popcorn and kona shaved ice. Skilled face painters and balloon artists will be ready to transform attendees into bona fide space heroes, adding an extra layer of immersion to the galactic affair.
As night falls, guests can settle in with their blankets and chairs for an outdoor movie experience under the stars. The event is free of charge and open to all.
